What is Springhill? Hawke's Bay Addiction Centre Trust is committed to supporting people and their whanau to live the lives they want free from alcohol, drugs and other addictions. The Trust does this by supporting a residential addiction treatment facility at Springhill since 1976. The Trust owns the land and buildings at Morris St and leases the premises to the Hawke’s Bay District Health Board who run the residential alcohol and drug and rehabilitation programme from the site. The site is undergoing major improvements funded by the Trust through generous contributions from community philanthropy. The Trust supports educational opportunities for those who work at Springhill and for other Hawke’s Bay addiction workers.
